Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the US. she is the current president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss, who is originally from California was born into an exceptionally wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father was a businessman in the field of real estate and later was the owner of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. The emotional strain she felt was exacerbated after her parents split in 1972. When she was 19 years old, she was appointed the General Manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. She later set up her own Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. In the beginning, she was vice-president for the Lakers before she assumed the position of president of Great Western Forum. Buss and her five sisters inherited the Lakers control following the passing of Buss' father in 2013. Each of the sisters had the same voice.
